Hold Me Accountable

I’m gonna need a little help from you on this one. I’m aiming to write at least one post every month for the rest of the year, and I’d love it if you’d remind me, challenge me, maybe even hold me accountable—because, honestly, I need it.

It’s been a while. I lost count of how many months, maybe years, since I last sat down to write here. Back in 2021, I had a little blog called ulintalks—some of you might remember.

That’s a picture I kept—one of my friends told me she’s been saving my blog as a tab all this time.

I used to pour my heart into words until life happened. I skimmed through my old posts, one by one, and then I let them go. But oh, how I’ve missed writing. That quiet corner of my mind where I could spill every thought, no filters, no explanations, no waiting for someone else to get it.

So, how’s 2025 treating you? I don’t want to sound like a broken record, but this year has reshaped me in ways I never saw coming. A friend once told me she’s proud of my growth, my milestones—words I wish I’d captured in the moment instead of letting them slip away into silence. I kept those real-time thoughts locked inside, but don’t worry—I’ll share the polished, the distilled, the beautiful mess of it all with you.

Lately, something shifted. A new kind of fire flickering inside, quietly saying, “Start now. Not tomorrow. Not January 1st. Now.” Because who says there’s a starting line? Or a finish line? You have just begun. So I asked myself, if not now, then when?

For the first time in what feels like forever, I want to write about me—about the things I’m working on, the sparks they’ve lit, and the feeling I thought I’d lost.

There’s still time left in this year. They say that’s when the plot thickens, the stories twist and turn. If you ask me, I’m ready for whatever comes next. Whatever those twists may be, I hope they bring light, hope, and good things for us both.

Thanks for being here. Let’s see where this goes.
